Welcome! You’ve found the blog of a 30 something (Army)wife, mom, blogger, dog owner, World of Warcraft player, Steeler fan, occasionally talented photographer, more often than not confused, but always ready to blog about something, slightly girly, slightly tomboyish woman!

I’m opinionated and stubborn. I have a fondness for pink, I LOVE my coffee.  I’m low maintenance with high maintenance aspirations, that are seldom recognized. I’m a gadget addict too.

I’ve been married for 16 years to an awesome man. I’ll be bragging about him frequently. I have two teen daughters, one is 15 one is 14. We have two dogs, a German Shepherd named Daisy and a white Malamutt named Shadow. No I didn’t spell that wrong, yes, he is white, and yes his name is shadow. There will be pictures.  I’m not an uber supermom parent, I’m lucky if I manage mediocrity, but my kids are well behaved (I hate admitting that) and well adjusted.

We currently live in Washington State. Yes, it rains alot. No I haven’t seen Bill Gates’ house.  Yes, I AM addicted to starbucks.

Music…I like anything that sounds good. I’ll try almost anything once. Current collection ranges from Hank Jr to Nickleback to Ozzy Osbourne, to Skynyrd. It includes some 80’s rock too. Gotta love the hair bands.

Movies: Anything that can make me remember it, and quote it 6 months from now. Favorites include the “Brat Pack” movies, and Gone With The Wind. Top spot goes to The Princess Bride. If you haven’t seen it…well, stop reading this and go GET IT!!
