This, is my dog, Daisy. Look how sweet and innocent she is. You never find Daisy doing nasty things like SOME dogs I know. She is quite content to lay on the couch with her blanky and dream of ways to make me happy.

This, is Shadow. Look at him. Can’t you just FEEL the sneakiness, and the evil just radiating from him? Shadow had a problem with separation anxiety when we got him. It was something he was quickly cured of, or so we thought.

But no. He was pretending. He was waiting until Hunny left, and I fully trusted him to be on his own for five minutes while I showered, or ran to the store. And I don’t think it’s the SA returned. I think it’s now all out spitefulness. It’s in the breed (malamute mix).

For example, I got to get a shower Monday morning. My youngest was here before school, but left, so he was maybe alone for 5 minutes. He stole the pizza off the stove, and not only at all of it, he ate the garlic sauce packets! And I don’t mean he at the plastic tubs it came in, I mean the evil incarnate mutt poked holes in the lids and squeezed the sauce out through them!

Then yesterday, I go to get gas for the truck. I’m gone 15 minutes tops. I come home and the little schmuck had eaten an entire loaf of wheat bread, AND the bagged PB&J sandwich that was on the counter. I kid you not this beast tore the bags at the bottom corner, SPIT OUT THE PLASTIC and took the sandwich and bread out, leaving the empty bags! How do i know it was him? Because when I picked up the empty bags and held them up, he put his head and tail down and hid behind the couch. Now explain to me how this dog can be smart enough to open a bag to get what’s inside, KNOW he did something wrong and pretty much admit it, yet he’s NOT smart enough to figure out that the doorbell sound is on TV?????

Because he is EVIL. Not like MY dog.

I guess turning 35 is a milestone somehow. I always swore I had no problem with aging, but for some reason this particular number is annoying me. I’m sure it will pass. No, I’m not writhing on the floor in a fetal position desperately clutching my youth and mumbling about anti aging creams. But I am starting a blog project. Thanks to Niki. It’s called Project 365. Starting today, I’m posting one photo per day. My thinking is one, it will get me back to blogging more, and two, dust off my photo skills. The first picture is today. Then I need to set up a Flickr account or something to store them all in order.

Todays lucky subject is the always photogenic, more cooperative than the kids, and adorable…Daisy! Daisy just had a birthday too. On Janary 15, she turned 6!

Well things went OK today. Ken did his thing this morning, and I went to the office (Red Cross) this afternoon to visit, and to pickup the handbook to give myself a refresher on casework. I’m going back Monday for some actual work. Then I came home to find that Oliver (the cat) had decided to stake a claim on part of the living room, despite the fact that the dog was down here . For the next hour Daisy played dance around the kitty. For a declawed cat he sure put the fear of paws into her. Then again, this face would scare even the bravest of beasts….

this standoff lasted quite a while…lol
</lj-cut>

Right now everyone is watching “Hook”. Lyssa has been very hard to deal with the last couple days, and because of that I told her she couldn’t stay up to watch all of it. She just came over, hugged me, and said she’ll be better now, and how could I say no? Saying yes earned me a kiss on the cheek. Here’s hoping…

I’m trying to wake my muse up right now. She isn’t being very cooperative. But I’d like to get something made, it’s been ages.
