The Girl Can Cook…

Dinner was yummy if I do say so myself. I thawed out 4 chicken breasts, soaked them in italian dressing, then baked them for about an hour. After that, I transferred them to another pan, covered them in spaghetti sauce, sprinkled mozzarella cheese on top and baked them for another 15 minutes while the garlic bread toasted. On the side we had green beans (with some italian dressing and parmesagn thrown in). It was good.

I just finished setting up my fantasy football team. Yeah, I’m a girl and I like football. Bite me  ! I haven’t done much else though. Just sat here, listened to some movies on the TV behind me. Talked to my station manager *M* for a bit about after hours calls, and made dinner. As we’ve already discussed.

My next project is to start my photo site over, using the same handy little php set up I’m using on my personal site. We’ll see how that goes. On to serious stuff…

I’m starting to feel like some kind of anomaly. All of my friends are dealing with this deployment, the crying spells, sadness, etc. I’m still not having that. It’s not that I’m not upset that he’s leaving, I am. I’ll miss him like crazy. He’s my very best friend. I tell him things I don’t tell anyone else. But the weepy thing just isn’t happening. I have a little insomnia going on, but that’s about it. I would rather be going through it now, while he’s here than after he leaves, which is what is going to happen. That’s just my personal quirk. I’d be in tears right now if he had CQ, or had to be in the field for 3 days right now. I guess I’m just being me. I go into high drama mode over the little things, and don’t blink an eye over the bigger things. You just watch, once he’s gone you’ll see the posts with me having the most major fit over something so completely stupid.

Thank God for my friends, they’ve seen this from me first hand. I’m shocked they still call
