Shopping Rant

I hate grocery shopping with a passion rivaled only by my hatred of Wal Mart. And anyone that knows me, knows that is alot of passion. They have finally finished the renovations in our commissary. Great right? Sure, if all the prices would have stayed the same. Over $6.00 for 4 chicken breasts???? I used to get them (and by used to I’m talking 2 weeks ago when I bought them last) get them for under $5!! Then, I couldn’t get the cheap burger because they sat it right beside the not cheap burger and it looked downright anemic. Sure it always DOES but not so obviously!

Then, I’m finally ready to check out ofter 30 minutes of dodging scooters and child powered shopping carts, and the cashier has the nerve to question me when using my debit card with the no cashback option! Yes I’m SURE I don’t want cash back dammit. And NO I do not need you to make change for me…quit angling for a tip for heaven’s sake! I’ll tip you because of good service, not under pressure. It’s bad enough we can’t take carts to the parking lot anymore. No, now we either have to hand carry it, or in most cases, have a bagger cart it out. Again, more forced tipping. GAH!! I don’t mind tipping for service really. But I want the choice, maybe I don’t happen to HAVE an extra $3-$5 to hand out this time, but I do it anyway, because they HAVE to carry the shit out. It’s bullshit I tell you. BULLSHIT!!!
